Terms of Use

The terms governing your use of getadd.dev and the ADD methodology documentation.

Effective date: February 14, 2026
Last updated: February 14, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using getadd.dev (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Snarky & Quip LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Site Description

This Site provides documentation, guides, and informational content about Agent Driven Development (“ADD”), a structured software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology for AI-native development. The ADD plugin is a free, open-source Claude Code plugin distributed under the MIT License.

The Site is an informational resource. It does not provide a software service, does not require user registration, and does not process transactions.

Open Source License

The ADD plugin source code (commands, skills, rules, templates, and configuration files) is released under the MIT License. The MIT License governs your use, modification, and distribution of the plugin code.

These Terms of Use apply to the website (getadd.dev) and its content. They are supplementary to, and do not replace, the MIT License that governs the plugin code itself.

Website Content

The written content on this Site — including documentation, guides, blog posts, diagrams, and explanatory text — is the copyrighted work of Snarky & Quip LLC. You may:

You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish substantial portions of the website content without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable fair use or fair dealing laws.

Methodology Disclaimer

ADD is a development methodology — a set of principles, practices, and workflows for organizing AI-assisted software development. It is provided as educational and informational content.

We make no guarantees that adopting ADD will produce any particular outcome for your project, team, or organization. Software development outcomes depend on many factors beyond methodology, including team skill, project complexity, tooling, requirements clarity, and operational context.

The guidance provided on this Site (including best practices, enterprise recommendations, and workflow descriptions) reflects our current thinking and is subject to change. It should be evaluated in the context of your specific situation and requirements.

AI-Generated Code Disclaimer

ADD is a methodology that orchestrates AI agents to write, test, review, and deploy software code. While ADD includes verification mechanisms (independent verification, quality gates, TDD cycles), AI-generated code may contain errors, security vulnerabilities, performance issues, or other defects.

You are solely responsible for:

Neither Snarky & Quip LLC nor the ADD project is responsible for the output of AI agents operating under the ADD methodology. ADD provides structure and verification workflows, but does not guarantee the correctness, safety, or suitability of any code produced.

No Warranty

THE SITE, THE ADD METHODOLOGY, AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE METHODOLOGY OR DOCUMENTATION WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT OR BE SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

This disclaimer applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, in which case this disclaimer applies to the maximum extent permitted.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SNARKY & QUIP LLC, ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, THE ADD METHODOLOGY, THE ADD PLUGIN, OR ANY AI-GENERATED CODE PRODUCED USING ADD, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Snarky & Quip LLC and its members, employees, and contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, the ADD methodology, or any AI-generated code, or your violation of these Terms.

The arbitration shall take place in the State of Delaware.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
